HAPPY ANNIVERSARY: The staff and their families celebrating Pustaka Miri’s 9th anniversary in ‘Checkers and Stripes’.
MIRI: Pustaka Miri recently threw a celebration party themed ‘Checkers and Stripes Night’ to commemorate its 9th anniversary.
Organised by the library’s Sports and Recreational Club, all Pustaka staff and their families joined the joyous occasion that was filled with
fun and exciting party games and lucky draw.
Pustaka Miri was established on Dec 10, 2002.
Staff from different departments also showcased their rare talent on stage while those celebrating their birthdays from the months of October to December were also given a pleasant surprise.
The evening was made even more memorable with the presence of Pustaka Negeri Sarawak acting chief executive officer Japri Bujang Masli and regional manager Salina Zawawi.
To spice up the celebration, Pustaka Miri in collaboration with Mega Hotel will also be holding a blood donation campaign on Dec 10.
The campaign to be facilitated by Miri Blood Bank will take place at the hotel’s Ballroom 3 on the 4th floor from 8.30am to 12noon.
It is aimed at building awareness on the importance of donating blood in saving the lives of those in need while helping the Blood Bank to replenish its blood supply for the festive season.
Successful donors will also be given tokens of appreciation for their participation.
