High demand for Tabuan Tranquility 2 launching receives overwhelming response

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS: Prospective home buyers and property investors flock at the launch of Tabuan Tranquility 2 at Ibraco House. The response to the new development is beyond Ibraco’s expectations despite the relatively high prices of the units.

KUCHING: Ibraco Bhd (Ibraco), a prominent property developer here, has received ‘overwhelming response’ to the launching of its latest property development, Tabuan Tranquility 2 on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

A spokesperson for the developer stated that ‘many units’ were sold during the launch and the volume was beyond its expectations despite the relatively higher prices of the units when compared with prices of units built by other developers.

The encouraging response came even prior to the launch as there were many enquiries via telephone calls, walk-ins and emails from interested parties.

With over three decades of experience in real estate, Ibraco’s master plan came with a thorough research of drainage system, ensuring that all its housing development projects were assured of proper drains to bring down the level of flooding to zero.

Ibraco managing director Chew Chiaw Han underlined the corporation’s solid track record in the real estate sector given its stringent and detailed planning.

“We have engaged experts in all our planning, so we take pride in informing all clients that houses built by Ibraco are not flood-prone.

“Ibraco makes certain to have the right drainage in place before any launch of housing development projects. Planning is key and we continue to believe in it,” he said during the launch of the residential development at Ibraco House yesterday.

Chew also pointed out that Ibraco had built six units per acre of land while most developers would build eight units for the exact size of land. In short, the developer ensured density control and complied with official standards.

Adding to the attractiveness of the units was the ‘10-90 financing scheme’ where buyers would not have to pay for the interest of their bank loans until the occupancy permits were issued.

Tabuan Tranquility 2 comprises 80 units of modern double storey terrace houses, 56 units of luxury double storey semi-detached houses and 24 detached exclusive villas.

The units were furnished with renowned brands of fittings in wardrobes, bedrooms, dry and wet kitchens, burglary system, auto gate system, sanitary ware, air-conditioning and ceramic tiles.

The area is strategically located close to amenities such as banks, eateries, schools, a private hospital and recreational parks.

Phase 1 of Tabuan Tranquility, comprising commercial units was sold out while Phase 5 which was a residential portion, was 90 per cent sold since its launching in November 2010.
