MIRI: Professor Andy Chan from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus has joined Curtin Sarawak Research Institute (CSRI) as a visiting professor.

CSRI director Professor Aaron Goh said the multi-disciplinary research institute is committed to collaborating with distinguished professors from around the world to achieve its vision of being a world-renowned research organisation focusing on the region’s energy and biotechnology needs.

“Professor Andy Chan is an exceptional scholar who is passionate not just about developing technological solutions but also about the socioeconomic and cultural impact of the technologies on communities.

“I am delighted that he has joined CSRI and believe he will make a significant contribution in driving research excellence at Curtin Sarawak,” said Goh.
