KOTA BAHARU: The Kelantan Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism office seized 2,200 fake hand phone casings and tablets featuring The Red Warriors logo, worth RM84,000 at a shopping complex.

Kelantan office enforcement chief Ab Ghani Harun said the goods were seized following a tip off from the Kelantan Football Association (Kafa) since sales of such items were not approved by Kafa.

“I was informed that the good were from Kuala Lumpur but we are trying to identify the factory or manufacturer,” he told reporters, here, yesterday.

Ab Ghani said the owner of the shop which sold the goods would be charged and face a fine of up to RM15,000 for each unit seized.

He also urged traders, including those trading in night markets to avoid selling fake The Red Warrior goods as severe action would be taken against them. — Bernama
