SEREMBAN: Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Bhd (PUNB) will produce accountants to help in preparing the accounts of Bumiputera companies under the corporation nationwide.
Its chief executive officer Dzulkifli Fadzilah said some 50 accountants would be produced in the first phase this year.
“This move is taken to ensure that the Bumiputera entrepreneurs have accounts that are in order and proper to facilitate PUNB in monitoring their cash flow.
“If (we) get certified accountants, it will cost very high, so this is the best way to overcome the problem,” he told reporters after a meeting with Negri Sembilan PUNB entrepreneurs here.
Also present were Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and PUNB chairman Senator Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam. — Bernama
