“This event will be from 8am until 12 noon at Permy Mall’s car parking compound.

“The main objective of the event is to raise funds for the school’s education activities and part of the proceeds would be channelled to the education committee of LAKMM,” she told The Borneo Post after meeting the chairman of LKMM, Datuk Abdillah Abdul Rahim and Member of Parliament for Sibuti, Ahmad Lai Bujang at LAKMM office yesterday.

Ahmad Lai who is also the deputy chairman of the board and Abdillah are the patrons for the charity sale.

“Coupons prized at RM10 each will be on sale end of next month and venues for the coupon sale will be announced during the launching later,” she added.

She pointed out that some ten food and drink stalls would be set up during the event and ten exhibition booths involving various agencies from the government and private sectors and educational institutions would be put up.

In addition to that, there would be also a colouring contest for children aged 5 to 8.
