KOTA KINABALU: Penampang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) president Datuk Ling Tiong Chai and Kunak Chinese Chamber of Commerce president Pong Kim Wai have been appointed as the secretary general and treasurer general of Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce (SUCCC) respectively.
Meanwhile, PCCCI secretary general Victor Kou Lee Chong and Semporna Chinese Chamber of Commerce treasurer general Ho Kim Chan were appointed as SUCCC deputy secretary general and deputy treasurer general respectively.
SUCCC president Datuk Seri Panglima Gan Sau Wah made the announcement of the respective appointments yesterday, slightly after a week he was re-elected to the post in SUCCC’s 39th annual general meeting (AGM) cum 40th election on July 31.
Gan added that the chief and members of the respective committees under SUCCC would be decided in the first meeting of the 40th SUCCC executive committee in mid-August.
Ling and Ho were previously the secretary general and deputy treasurer general in the previous term.
