KUCHING: KKB Engineering Bhd (KKB) has obtained a contract worth RM14.5 million for the fabrication work of an oil and gas (O&G) platform.
The company in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday said its associate company OceanMight Sdn Bhd (OceanMight) has received a letter of award from 2H Offshore Engineering Sdn Bhd (2H Offshore) for the provision of fabrication, hook-up and commissioning services for the Tanjong Baram wellhead platform. The contract sum of the job is worth RM14.5 million.The company said the job will begin this month and is scheduled to be completed by March next year.
KKB noted the letter of award for the fabrication work is subject to a formal contract to be entered between OceanMight and 2H Offshore.
