SIBU: A foreign labourer of a plywood company suffered multiple injuries to his face and body after a group of about 10 men attacked him on Sunday at 3.40pm.

The labourer, in his 20’s, was returning to his workers’ quarters in Sukun Road after buying daily necessities when the group attacked him with hard objects.
It is believed that the attackers were drunk.
A friend of the labourer drove him back to the quarters.
Yesterday morning, his superior accompanied him to the police station to lodge a report. The foreigner also told police that he did not know the his assailants.
