IPOH: Tourism Perak yesterday launched the ‘perak.travelin360.com’ which is the first cyber tourism portal in Malaysia which displays a 360-degree panorama to spur the tourism sector in the state.
State Exco for Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi said the portal was a new tourism product showing various scenic destinations to facilitate tourists visiting the scenic spots in Perak.
“The 260 degree portal website carries information, including accommodation at hotels and resorts, food and other tourism activities in the state of Perak, where they can be surfed via the portal.travelin360.com,” she said.
She disclosed this to reporters after launching the Malaysia Year of Festival (MYFEST) 2015 at the Perak state level and the launching of 360 portal website at Hotel Excelsior, here. Also present were Tourism Malaysia State Director for Perak, Ibrahim Sediqqi and Perak Tourism Management Berhad chairman Muhamad Kamil Shafie. — Bernama
