KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Government agencies and departments outshone other states with ‘very good'(four-star) rating in the Accountability Index of the Auditor-General.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said this year, 24 of the 35 agencies and departments in Sabah won four stars as compared to only 20 in 2013.
“Financial management agencies and departments in Sabah won four stars for three consecutive years.
“This is our best showing so far,” he said when opening a course for board members of the state statutory bodies here today.
Of the 24 best organisations, six were state statutory bodies, including Sabah Economic Development Corporation, Rural Development Cooperative, Sabah Rubber Industry Board and Sabah Forestry Development Authority.-Bernama
