MIRI: Taylor’s College and CT Academic Services are inviting Form 5 students and their parents for a high-tea programme at Imperial Palace Hotel here this Saturday.
The session, to be running from 2pm to 6pm, will begin with a talk on ‘Quality Pre-U at Taylor’s: What Makes Taylor’s the Top in the Industry?’ before proceeding with individual sessions between counsellors from the institution, students and parents.
Admission is free, according to a press statement by CT Academic Services.
“The high-tea session serves to inform parents on what it means for their children to become students at Taylor’s College, which is touted as the best pre-university in Malaysia.
“Find out about the colleg’s learning environment, teaching styles and student support services aimed at moulding well-rounded individuals of the future,” it said.
Academic director Khoo Li Lin and South Australian Matriculation principal Lai Cheng See will be on hand to answer any question regarding Taylor’s College.
Lin has wide experience with young people where she has helped many students achieve their dreams and bring inspiration to others.
Lai, on the other hand, firmly believes that education does not only encompass academic excellence but also the development of one’s character.

Counselling for the foundation and degree programmes from Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus will also be conducted during the high-tea.

Forecast Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/Cambridge’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) trail results are accepted for application of the next January intake.
“Applicants are advised to bring along their SPM/IGCSE forecast results and photocopies of their MyKAD / passports for on-the-spot application and assessment.
“Parents and students are also encouraged to book seats for the talk,” the organiser said.
