PELAIHARI, South Kalimantan: The Tanah Laut Public Orders (Satpol PP) arrested 11 people caught smoking in the District General Hospital (RSUD) Boejasin Pelaihari, AntaranewsKalsel reported.
The arrest of 11 people smoking in hospital environment, because of not complying with Article 43 of Regulation No.7/ 2014, said the Satpol PP investigator Mustafa Kamaludin in Pelaihari Wednesday.
According to him, based regulation offender caught smoking in a prohibited areas subject to the threat of a maximum of six months imprisonment and a fine of up tp Rp50 million.
However, he stated, it was still tolerate 11 violators with development efforts and make a statement not to repeat the act.
Under the direction of Chief of Satpol PP, he explained, 11 offenders were called to the public order office for further questioning.
If the call is not obeyed, he said, the Satpol PP Pol will pick them up forcely, and the case to be forwarded to the District Court.
He explained, in accordance with Article 43 Regulation No. 7/2014, smoking is prohibited in areas of health care, teaching and learning facilities, children’s playground, places of worship, and the workplace.
