SIBU: Laila Taib College (KLT) held its fourth Engineering & Architecture Day in conjunction with its open day last Saturday.

Some 200 secondary school students and teachers attended the event, which aimed to enhance students’ creativity and widen their knowledge on the two subjects.

Activities held included competitions such as Water Tank Tower, An Egg-Citing Ride and Think Out of A Box.

KLT offers six programmes — Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Architecture, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Quantity Surveying, and Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

All Sarawakians can apply for the Zero-Programme Fee through the Laila Taib Scholarship if they have five credits in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or Unified Examination Certificate and fulfil the entry requirements of the programmes on offer.
