KUCHING: The AUG GO! Australia Education Fair which will be held on May 2 from 1pm to 5pm at The Waterfront Hotel (Plaza Merdeka ) could be the last stop for prospective students who are looking to continue their tertiary education in down under.

Among the university representatives who will be present at the fair are Taylors College, Australian Catholic University (ACU), Deakin University and Deakin College.

A press release from Taylors College says a university foundation programme which guarantees entry to prestigious universities in Australia and New Zealand upon successful completion will be introduced to students at the fair. The programmes have been developed in conjunction with the partner universities themselves, especially for international students.

Students who meet the grades and any additional requirements will receive an offer in the undergraduate course at their affiliate universities and colleges.

For over 90 years Taylors College has been preparing students successfully, and every year almost 100 per cent of its students are offered a tertiary place.

ACU has over 150 years of educational heritage and is a publicly funded Australian institution which offers students high quality and internationally recognised qualifications.

Representatives from Deakin University and Deakin College will explain industry focused degree programmes that prepare graduates to be ready for the global workplace.
