MIRI: A 28-year-old man died on the spot after the car he was driving rammed into the wall of a concrete bridge in Bakam around 8.10am yesterday.
Sng Yee Siong of Tukau, Bakam sustained serious injuries to his body and head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is learnt that the victim, who was travelling alone, somehow lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the wall.
The car is said to have overturned several times, leading Sng to be thrown out of the vehicle.
Other motorists, who witnessed the accident, immediately pulled over and contacted Miri Hospital.
A medical team pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
