Islamic council, Tokuyama, Politeknik Mukah delegates call on CM

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg received courtesy calls from three delegations at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here yesterday.

They delegations were Sarawak Islamic Council, Tokuyama Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Politeknik Mukah.

Led by chairman Datu Misnu Taha, the Sarawak Islamic Council was the first delegation who congratulated Abang Johari on the latter’s recent appointment.

Also with the delegation were Sarawak Islamic Religious Department director Ismail Mohd Hanis and deputy chairman of the council Dato’ Murshid Juanda Jaya.

Also extending their congratulatory messages to Abang Johari were representatives from Tokuyama Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Politeknik Mukah.

The delegations also briefed Abang Johari on their respective roles and performances.

The courtesy calls were also meant to foster closer ties and enhance collaboration with the state government.
