KUALA SELANGOR: Although the crisis between PKR and PAS is seen to be widening, PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohammed Azmin Ali is confident that it can be resolved through negotiations.

He said that the tradition of negotiation to resolve any problem should be continued by both parties and there was no necessity for anyone to compete in making statements without benefiting any party.

He disclosed this to reporters here yesterday when asked on the relationship between the two parties which was seen to be tense lately after the PKR remained adamant about its decision to forge cooperation with Parti Amanah Negara (PAN), DAP and Parti Bersatu Pribumi Malaysia which formed Pakatan Harapan.

The media earlier reported that the issue on political cooperation between both parties would be brought to the next PAS Assembly for a decision.

The crisis became worse when PAS Youth chief Nik Abduh Nik Aziz issued a statement that the party would capture Selangor in the next general election.  — Bernama
