SIBU: A garden party held in conjunction with the 6th Sibu International Dance Festival (SIDF) at the scenic Kutien Garden here Thursday attracted huge crowds.
The event, held from 1pm to 7pm, was organised by Hornland Dance Theatre Sibu.
The outdoor event was a combination of live music, local cuisine, outdoor scenery painting competition, Indonesian folk dance learning session, and dance performances by more than 100 artistes from overseas at different locations in the park.
The 6th SIDF is being held from Aug 29 to Sept 2, featuring 160 participants from Brazil, Mexico, the United States, China, India, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Spain and Malaysia.
The dance genres include classical, cultural, contemporary, and street dance.
