KOTA KINABALU: Three men and two women were admitted to the Native Bar here yesterday as advocates.

Hershan @ Ray Herman, Dennis Tweening Rantau, Rizwandean Bukhari M Borhan, Emmie M Idang and Rosliah Abdul Rahman, were admitted to bar before Chief Justice of Sabah and Sarawak Tan Sri Richard Malanjum.

Malanjum, who sat together with assessors OKK Datuk William Majimbun and Native Court Chief Saniban Ampilah, were satisfied with the applicants’ petitions.

Upon hearing their petitions moved by Datuk John Sikayun, the court ordered for the five names to be inserted into the lawyers list for Sabah Native Court of Appeals.

Senior State Counsel Juprin Wong-Adamal from the State Attorney General Chambers and Brenndon Keith Soh from the Sabah Law Association raised no objection to their petitions.
