SIBU: Six taxi drivers were arrested after they were caught gambling at a taxi station in Khoo Peng Loong Road here on Wednesday.
The men, aged between 52 and 68, were playing a game of ‘See Kee Poi’ when police raided the area around 2.30pm following a tip-off.
A deck of playing cards and cash money totalling RM185 were seized from the suspects.
In an unrelated matter, a drinks seller was arrested at a coffee shop in Mahsuri Lane for suspected involvement in illegal lottery activities.
The 55-year-old was nabbed around 3pm on Wednesday by police, who seized a smartphone and RM404 in cash from him.
