SIBU: Police here arrested a man on Sunday after he beat up his brother-in-law during a quarrel.
He has been remanded for three days from yesterday to facilitate police investigation into the assault case.
It is learned that the man had first quarrelled with his wife at home.
When his father-in-law and brother-in-law came to talk to him, it sparked another round of quarrel among the three.
The man then beat up his brother-in-law after their conversation turned into a heated argument.
