KUCHING: An Indonesian housewife was found murdered at her home at Kpg Bedup Longgok, Serian yesterday afternoon.
According to a statement from Sarawak CID chief Datuk Dev Kumar, a 35-year-old farmer made a report at Serian Police Station yesterday, informing that he found his wife in a pool of blood at their living room, after he picked up their daughter from school.
Initial police investigation confirmed that the 36-year-old victim had died of neck wounds.
Her husband has been detained for further investigation.
The murderer and murder motive have yet to be ascertained as of press time.
