KUCHING: National oil company Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) welcomes the participation of state-owned petroleum company Petros in the oil and gas sector and looks forward to continue collaborating with Sarawak for mutual benefit.
Petronas, in a press statement today, congratulated the State for officially launching Petros on Tuesday night.
“Petronas would like to extend its congratulations to the Sarawak State Government for the successful official launch of Petros,” the statement read.
Petronas stated that it is committed to supporting the Sarawak state’s aspirations to actively participate in the State’s oil and gas industry in line with the current framework of the Petroleum Development Act 1974.
