KUALA LUMPUR: The Congress of Unions of Employees in Public and Civil Services (Cuepacs) has urged civil servants to be committed in carrying out their duties and not to engage in politics.

Its president, Datuk Azih Muda said public servants should look back at the civil service pledge, namely to remain loyal to the ruling government and the people of this country.

“At the moment, the achievement of civil servants is better (than before), do continue to serve the country and government,” he said when contacted by Bernama yesterday.

Azih also reminded civil servants not to take part in politics and to focus on the newly formed government. — Bernama
