MIRI (July 29): A 69-year-old woman died after she fell from a building in Krokop 2 here this morning.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba Sarawak) operations centre said it received a distress call on the incident at 8.29am.
“A team of seven personnel from Bomba Miri station was sent to the scene.
“When they arrived, the operation commander reported that the woman had fallen from the building before their arrival,” Bomba Sarawak said in a statement.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Miri Hospital.
Bomba added that the body was later handed over to the police for further action.
