MIRI (Aug 11): Bulatan Park here will be temporarily closed on Wednesday (Aug 12) to facilitate a conservation and environmental control operation.
Miri City Council (MCC), in a notice issued today, said that the joint operation with Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC), will take place from 7pm to 10pm.
“The operation is aimed at controlling the population of certain wildlife to maintain ecological balance and enhance public safety,” it said.
The council advised members of the public not to enter the area during the operation and to comply with instructions from personnel on site.
MCC added that it apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their cooperation.
