BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: In conjunction with the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Dato Marsal Primary School recently held a procession in the school compound, Borneo Bulletin reported.
The procession was led by the School Headmaster, Cikgu Haji Amir bin Haji Zaini, followed by the administration unit and students of Kindergarten One. to Year Six.
After the procession, Surah Al-Fatihah, Doa Selamat and Quranic verses were read to bless the ceremony. The event was also enlivened with Tausyeh, Nasyid and storytelling presentation by the students.
The storytelling presentation, which portrayed stories of morality and ethics, were followed by quizzes on the content of the stories where the winners were later awarded with prizes. The event ended with a mass recitation of Salawat for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
