KUCHING: The Amanah Khairat Yayasan Budayu Melayu Sarawak (AKYBMS) committee paid Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud a courtesy call at the Astana here yesterday.

Led by its chairman Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, who is also Second Resource Planning and Environment Minister, the visit was to invite the Head of State to attend the Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri celebration organised by AKYBMS.
The event will be held at Imperial Hotel here at 8pm on Aug 27.
Also in the entourage were AKYBMS board of members Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais who is also Assistant Minister of Resource Planning and Prof Datu Dr Sanib Said.
