KUCHING: Galleria at Wesberly House recently held a Christmas party for students from the Association for the Welfare of Intellectually Disabled Children (Perkata) Special School for children with special needs.

A statement from Galleria said artist Melton Kais hosted the educational and fun day for the students aged seven to 17.

The students were guided during colouring activities to help develop their artistic skills.

They were also entertained with games involving spotting and identifying objects in paintings and musical chairs.

Later the students enjoyed a visit to the koi fish pond at Wesberly Link.

Perkata runs special classes for children with Down’s Syndrome, autism, as well as different mental and physical issues.
