KUCHING: UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd is inviting the public to visit their Boulevard Jaya Sdn Bhd Toyota showroom this weekend to experience a test drive event they won’t soon forget.
Its sales manager Ng Kheng Seng said that the objective was to create brand awareness among the public and to introduce attractive product promotions for May and June, with attractive prizes to be won.
“This weekend, the public are very much welcome to test drive any available Toyota model,” he told the Borneo Post yesterday.
“The main attraction of the event is the latest Toyota Vios model, which can be test driven. It is also voted the Car of the Year, after winning the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards,” he added.
He also revealed that buyers of the Vios may be entitled to cash rebates of up to RM6,000.
Ng also encouraged the public to experience a test drive in their latest Toyota Hilux, with a cash rebate amounting to RM6,000 on offer.
“For those who want to experience a first-hand driving experience and learn more about the latest Hybrid Toyota Camry, this is also the opportunity to test drive it,” he further disclosed.
Ng added that those who bought their Toyota vehicles between May 1 and June 30 also stand a chance to win a grand prize to visit the Tokyo Motorshow and consolation prizes of the latest iPhone 6 Plus.
“There will be 20 grand prize winners and the draw for the winners will be announced by the end of June 2015. The 200 consolation prizes winners will be revealed every fortnight since the beginning of the contest on May 1,” he explained. He said that those who joined the test drive had a chance to win great prizes, but need to fill in the contest forms to stand a chance.
“There are a total of 100 units of iPad Mini 16GB to be won and the winners will be announced every fortnight,” he added. The event this weekend begins at 10am, with plenty of attractive programmes lined up for visitors, including a Satay Party and refreshments, colouring contest for children, free car inspection by Toyota Service technicians for Toyota car owners and more.
