SIBU: University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS) marked its third Family Day by connecting with nature at Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort, Miri.
A total of 135 people, including staff and their family members, participated in the outing recently.
“A lot of exciting activities were lined up by the committee such as jungle trekking, boat ride, trailer ride and telematch,” its press release stated.
The three-day event was organised by UCTS Staff Recreational Club, headed by Councillor Jimmy De Rozario @ Abdul Rahman, who is also head of Human Capital Department.
“Among the objectives was to strengthen the family institution as interaction could boost morale and lead to better job performance.”
The dinner on the final day was filled with exciting programmes such as lucky draws, traditional dance performance by students from SMK Riam, Miri and singing by their staff.
