KUCHING: AirAsia is offering a 20 per cent discount on all flights purchased via its mobile app and website till this June 5, applicable for travel period between June 6 and Sept 30 this year.
The promotion is valid for all AirAsia and AirAsia X flight codes AK (AirAsia Malaysia), D7 (Malaysia AirAsia X), FD (AirAsia Thailand), XJ (Thai AirAsia X), QZ (AirAsia Indonesia), XT (Indonesia AirAsia X), PQ (AirAsia Philippines) and I5 (AirAsia India).
Guests who book via AirAsia mobile app or website (mobile.airasia.com) only need to enter the ‘MOBILE20’ promptional code when prompted to enjoy this discount.
AirAsia Group chief commercial officer Siegtraund Teh said the company was one of the first airlines in the region to go mobile in giving its customers the convenience of booking flights even while on the move.
“We developed the mobile app back in 2010, which has since been downloaded over 10 million times worldwide and also won the ‘World’s Leading Low-Cost Airline App’ award at the 2015 World Travel Awards. We also have a mobile website for those yet to download our app that features a clean, streamlined interface and maintains the same booking functionality as our full desktop site.
“As a thank you to our guests for making our mobile platforms such a success, we are offering 20 per cent off all flights booked via our mobile app and mobile website. We believe this also makes for an enticing welcome gift for guests who have yet to try our mobile offerings.”
Guests are encouraged to download the AirAsia mobile app, which allows convenient check-in and comes with a full suite of services.
It includes ‘Manage My Booking’, on which guests can include various add-ons to their bookings easily, conduct flight status check and prepare e-boarding pass for use at selected airports. The app is available for iOS and Android devices in 11 languages – English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, traditional Chinese (Taiwan and Hong Kong), simplified Chinese (China), Thai, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and Arabic.
