River overflow banks at Tebakang Melayu, Serian. The area is under watchful eyes of police personnel there. Crossing the river is discouraged to prevent untoward happenings.
KUCHING: Drivers are urged to exercise care while driving through flooded roads.
Switch on headlights. Do not drive through swift flowing floodwaters. Drive slowly and pay attention to traffic. Drains and ditches may not be visible in flood.
